British Airways 100,000 miles for $75

Fares from Washington DC:

The British Airways Chase Visa card is offering 100,000 miles for acquiring the card and spending just $2,000 in the first three months. We've never seen an offer this generous before. That's enough miles for two "free" tickets (we use that word loosely, since there are always taxes and sometimes fees associated with frequent flyer programs and airline tickets) to Europe, or you can "spend" the miles on partner American Airlines. Plus you get an unusually generous 1.25 miles for every dollar charged, vs. the usual 1 mile. And if you have the card, you can save $50 on every BA fare by booking at ba.com/get50.

And if all that's not enough, every time you spend $30,000 or more on the card, you get a free companion certificate, valid for 2 years from issue, in any class of service. The annual fee for the card is $75. Apply here.
