The Obama administration has proposed increasing taxes on airline tickets to fund the FAA and TSA. Their argument is that because airline fees aren't taxable, the FAA has forgone over $1 billion in revenue as airlines replace fare hikes with ancillary fees on checked bags and ticket changes. Plus, less than half of the TSA's costs are covered by travelers (the rest comes from general taxpayers). In your opinion:
