The holiday sales keep on coming. American Airlines is now offering low one way or round trip airfare to many top destinations in the United States and Canada.

For travel between November 20-29 and December 2-3, 2008, you must book at least 7 days prior to departure or within 1 day of making the reservation. If you plan to travel December 13-19, 21-31, 2008 or January 1-5, 2009 then you have to book 14 days in advance or within 1 day of making the reservation.

Here are some sample holiday fares that I found on their site (round trip, taxes and fees included):

• November 26 - December 2: New York (JFK) - Toronto (YYZ), $193.10
• November 28 - December 2: Boston (BOS) - Chicago (ORD), $219.00
• November 26 - December 2: Washington,DC (IAD) - San Francisco (SFO), $320
• December 25 - December 29: New York (LGA) - Miami (MIA), $314.50
• December 25 - December 31: San Diego (SAN) - Las Vegas (LAS), $178.00
• December 24 - December 31: Chicago (ORD) - Montreal (YUL), $194.40
