For this price, you'll need to travel to Florida Saturdays through Wednesdays, and return from Florida Tuesdays through Saturdays, on select dates in April and May. I found this incredible fare departing Chicago ORD on Wednesday, April 29, returning from Ft. Lauderdale on Tuesday, May 5. We're also seeing plenty of deals to Florida from all over the U.S.

Phoenix - Los Angeles $63 Roundtrip for Spring/Summer Travel
American Airlines drastically lowered its price on this popular West Coast route after Frontier Airlines announced it will begin new service between LA and AZ. Avoid the extra fees of Frontier and fly nonstop on American Airlines from Phoenix to Los Angeles for $63 roundtrip. Look for this price for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from late April through early September, excluding peak summer travel in July. I found this price departing Phoenix PHX on Wednesday, May 6, returning from Los Angeles LAX on Tuesday, May 12.

Toronto - Ottawa $119 CAD Roundtrip for Summer/Fall Travel
Flair Airlines expanded with 8 new nonstop routes across Canada when it released its summer schedule. Many of the new routes are to/from the capital city of Ottawa. Intro fares from Toronto to Ottawa are easy to find for $119 CAD roundtrip ($89 USD). New nonstop service begins June 16, 2020, and flights can be booked for travel through October. I found this price departing Toronto YYZ on Friday, July 10, returning from Ottawa YOW on Sunday, July 12. Keep in mind that Flair Airlines follows the ultra-low-cost model and there are extra fees for everything from carry-on bags to drinks/snacks onboard. Even so, you'll still pay less on Flair Airlines after adding necessary baggage.

Dallas - Seattle $197 Roundtrip for Year-Round Travel
Delta Air Lines is adding more flights to its Seattle (SEA) hub this summer. Look for new Seattle flights from/to Dallas (DFW) and Columbus (CMH), starting June 8, 2020. Intro fares are decent and are available for travel throughout the year, including peak summer travel. Fly nonstop from Dallas to Seattle for $197 roundtrip, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. I found this price available over Independence Day, departing Dallas DFW on Wednesday, July 1, returning from Seattle SEA on Tuesday, July 7.

Portland - Kauai $198 Roundtrip for Spring Travel
Hawaii flights are super cheap from several cities across the U.S. Alaska Airlines released a flash sale yesterday and other airlines responded by matching prices across the board. Today, Alaska Airlines also lowered fares from its Northwest hubs and you can fly nonstop from Portland to Kauai for $198 roundtrip. Travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from April 21 - May 20, 2020. For example, I found seats departing Portland PDX on Tuesday, April 28, returning from Kauai LIH on Tuesday, May 5.

Los Angeles - San Jose, Costa Rica $231 Roundtrip for Spring/Fall Travel
Copa Airlines is a great choice for flights to Central and South America as it is one of the few airlines that still includes one free checked bag in all of its fares. New Orleans - Cancun $262 Roundtrip for Spring Travel
Spirit Airlines announced 2 new international routes from New Orleans earlier this week. Look for new nonstop flights from New Orleans (MSY) to Cancun (CUN) and San Pedro Sula (SAP), starting this June. After extending its booking schedule through November, Spirit starting selling tickets from New Orleans to Cancun for $262 roundtrip. This price is available for travel on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from late August through November. I found availability departing New Orleans MSY on Saturday, August 22, returning from Cancun CUN on Wednesday, August 26. Keep in mind that this price only includes a small personal item, but you can add a larger bag for $30-$42 each way during booking.

San Francisco - Buenos Aires $469 Roundtrip for Spring/Summer/Fall Travel
Basic Economy has hit South America, but the good news is that we are now seeing historically low airfares. Fly from San Francisco to Buenos Aires for $469 roundtrip on American Airlines. This incredible price can be found for last-minute travel dates departing as soon as today or tomorrow. For those who like to plan a little more, Monday through Thursday travel dates can be found for travel through early December, excluding peak summer dates in July.
