I purchased airline tickets for my son, his wife and 2 children to come and visit me in NY. The flight home was a horror for them. The airline was held over for someone to go get a phone. This caused my son's family to miss their connection. They were not placed on the next available flight. Instead, they ended up spending the night at Atlanta without their luggage or any extra clothing or supplies. They had to argue with the staff for the airline to even put them up in a hotel. Their meals were not paid for, so they had more out of pocket. They didn't get home until the following day, all four drenched from the trip.
