My short trip to Atlanta from White Plains was smooth. I returned a day earlier due to pending storm. Delta graciously waived change fee, flights there and back were on time. Flying out of White Plains is so convenient.

Everything about the flight was good, with one potentially disturbing surprise. On the outbound flight, there was no room overhead and I had to surrender my carryon for pick up in Atlanta. I was not prepared for that and had all of my valuables in the carryon.
As it turned out, it arrived safely and I was able to retrieve the bag at the carousel quickly. However, I do like to have my jewelry and such on my person during a flight, not in a bag that is handled by others.

there is no padding in the seat and there is no lumbar support. Lucky for me the flight is only 2 hours and we missed the bad weather.
