The ride to BOS from TPA was smooth and trouble free. I was happy to see a few gluten free choices in their snack selection. Staff was competent and efficient but not overly friendly.

American was so friendly that they upgraded us to first class (Tampa to Miami). Short flight, but very appreciated. As good as most airlines.

The flight was fine but I had to use the self service to check in and I would rather have an agent to assist me.

Checking in online is the way to go. Love the extra room for the regular seats and like the leather seats. Flight was good both ways but the return flight was over an hour late departing, said it was the weather back where it was coming in from.........Bring your own earbuds and enjoy the TV.

I scheduled the first flight out of Tampa to Boston - no stops. The flight cost $277 round trip - the best price I could find at the time. The seats were leather and larger feeling and everyone has their own TV. I was not aware that I could have brought my own headset and that JetBlue charged $2 for them. Lesson learned. Also, JetBlue had a menu that we used to select our beverage and snacks. I was confused as to whether there was a cost! No cost for standard non-alcohol drinks and they also passed a basket of packaged snacks that I could chose from and offered more than one package per person! I will use them again.

One good thing about Midwest. They have an express boarding for those people that don't have any carry on luggage. Great idea!!

One bad thing about Midwest. This was a routing nightmare. We had to change planes in Milwaukee, WI., traveling from Tampa, FL, to Boston.

Seats a bit cramped, no entertainment (JetBlue is superior on both accounts), trouble with customer service when booking the flight (was given a free flight for Thanksgiving delays, then repeated mistakes made in booking the one-way ticket received along with multiple blackout dates around the time I wanted to fly), though check-in experience at the airport was without hitches. Got me to the destination, not awful but not great either.

The cost of air travel has gone up exponentially, and the level of service for those dollars has gone down as well. On a recent flight, we were crammed in like sardines, people sitting in the back loaded up the overhead bins up front, because the were to lazy to shlep it back to where they wee sitting -thus passengers in those seats had no storage and had to check their bags - not good. The"service" is lame at best. To pay $7 for a "snack box" is bad enough, but to not have decent items in those boxes is bad. There are so many people on low carb diets, yet the boxes were full of carbs. We arrived a full hour late, which derailed an important eeting - the reason that we went up there in the first place. There are only a few screens in the plane, so if you pay for headphones ou are leaning into you neighbors lap to see the movie. This airline = and others should follow the lead of Jet Blue, and install screens in the seat back of every seat. That way, people have choices to watch what amuses them, and if there are delays, passengers are less likely to get riled about it, as they're being entertained. As for our delay - there should have been a drink coupon thrown in - for the inconvenience. i expected more from Delta, and they dropped the ball.
