This airline could care less about customer service. It nickel and dimes you for everything. We had signed up for a checked bag online and then did not have one, but the airline refused to refund our fee. The flight was delayed two hours. They never have enough people working the check-in counter. The customer service number is non-existent--don't bother. After holding for over ten minutes, I got a message telling me Allegiant wouldn't take my call. When I did get through to a representative and asked for a refund of the bag fee, she hung up on me. I've have never been treated so badly.

I almost always fly Allegiant, because I can usually find a good price for a ticket. Also, it's a non-stop flight which is great. The seats aren't the most comfortable, but not too bad.

I fly Allegiant because I can usually find a decent price. It is a direct flight which is great! None of the items they offer for snacks or drink is free, but that's fine. The seats aren't the most comfortable, but I can deal with that for the price. The attendants were friendly.

I travel this route with my three children who are ages 7 and younger. It's direct. Far shorter than KCMO to Tampa. Springfield Airport has been remodeled. It's very nice. St. Pete Airport is still under construction after a year of work, a real mess, but the location of the airport is very good.

My only complaint is that the airline seats are smaller than other airlines use. I have a Britax car seat that I have used for all three of my children--that's six years of airplane usage. The seats on the Allegiant planes are significantly smaller. I have a difficult time getting it into the plane seat.

However, for a flight to get to a busy Florida destination--you can't beat it. Allegiant is great.
