I flew on Wednesdays both ways. Leaving SBN on June 30, there was an hour-ten-minute delay. No explanation was given. When we arrived in FL, there were thunderstorms, so we had to fly over Orlando to avoid them. Once landed, the luggage was not disbursed because of the lightning in the area. O.K. thunderstorms are beyond their control.

BUT, on the return trip (7/7/10), we were strapped in our seats at 10:15 a.m. and there was a communication problem between cockpit and crew. We waited 30 minutes for it to be fixed. No can do. We deplaned and flew out on the next available plane 2 hours later. This was understandable. The part that is NOT understandable, is why we had to wait ONE HOUR at the carousel for our luggage in SBN. They could have told us it would be delayed or WHY. Instead two flights (one from AZ and ours from FL) waited and waited and waited for our luggage. My first experience with Allegiant.
