“terrible experience again”

When we got off our plane and picked up our bags to drop them off at the connecting ramp a "customer service" rep stopped us and took us and our luggage aside. We thought that since we had another 1/2hr to board that she was going to expediate our luggage for us. After almost 15 minutes of waiting inline with her, I told her that our flight was boarding, asked if she could handle this luggage for us and we could get to the plane. Thats when she told me that she had cancelled our seats on the plane and was rebooing us for a later flight! I couldnt believe it and neither could the other 4 passengers that she did this to. After a four hour delay we finally got on another flight....but the reason I travelled ealy inthe day was to miss the rush hour traffic in Chicago....when I finally got to Chicago it cost me an extra 40 dollars to sit in the traffic during rush hour to get downtown. I am pissed again at Air Canada. She hardly spoke english (she was French)and when she did it was very abrasive, like we didnt have any need to be informed about what she was doing with us. Am considering sending a letter agin.
