    Once again Alaska arrives on time or early. With Alaska, I have not had a bad experience on this route. I have booked flights for relatives and friends as well, with the same result. When all passengers have boarded, the plane may leave early.

    This direct flight to the Big Island makes the travel time so short and easy. Bag check stinks at $25 each- but so does every airline but SW - and we never check anyway. Coming back accepted upgrade to First Class for $100 each and it was worth it. Hey, we didn't buy the timeshare so we deserved to splurge! Wonderful lamb chop dinner and great red wine. Only downside is that we arrived early (again) and missed the last glass of wine :-)

    Alaska Air was a great airline to fly to Hawaii on. Check in was fast and easy, the crew on the flight was delightful. We took of on time and landed early, in both directions of the flight. The winds were with us.

    I have traveled with Alaska several times and also booked flights for friends and family. On time or earlier) arrivals every flight. Like every other economy flight, the seating is tight.

    This was a great flight with a great fare. It was direct from San Jose to Kona. We were boarded quickly and efficiently, got a free mai tai, and arrived more than one hour early! The return flight was just as good and we again arrived early. i am so happy Alaska is running direct flights from San Jose to Kona.

    Alaska now flies direct from San Jose to Kona! I used to have to go through Oakland. I experienced very good service and you can't beat the convenience. i like that I leave around breakfast time, and get to Kona before lunch. Alaska serves free mai tais!
