    Purchased Economy Plus upgrade, $59 dollars each. Cabin was less than half full. No one in front of me, no one across the aisle. The extra room on a longish flight with a skittish new wife was worth it.

    The flight was average, the service was uninspiring. I am tired of the Economy section having lights that don't work or direct correctly, faulty sound portals, and broken trays. I know the flight attendants have been doing these routes for a long time and unfortunately it shows in their attitudes. I miss real service.
