    Both flights left the gates on time. The in flight service was fine, and my bags got to my destination and baggage claim quickly. The only complaint was my reading light was out on the return flight.

    Much improved from the Alaska flights of 05 - 07.

    Most always something to cheer about on an Alaska Airlines flight. This one boarded, departed and arrived early, serving all the free drinks and snacks you can handle: Ah-las-KA!

    Alaska airlines was awesome! It was great to be able to pick my seat ahead of time. Check in was easy. I received a text message that morning to tell me my flight was on time. Great communication from Alaska. Flight attendants were great! By the time I got to baggage claim my bags were already there. Alaska had the best the price and the flight was direct, no stops! My return flight was just as good. I travel frequently to Seattle and Alaska is my airline of choice!

    Southwest flies a fleet of comfortable aircraft, low prices and a small number of unnecessary fees,,,IE: baggage fees. The fee they charge for being to allowed to pre board is not all that useful unless you cannot check in by computer..

    My husband, sister and I were on this flight with our mother's urned ashes. Security did not prove to be as daunting as we feared with our cremation documents and wood urn. The flight was a bit above average - better than recent flights on American Airlines for sure - and they were the ones who put us on Alaska. The food, which is a misnomer in any language, was a grade above American's on our flight to New York in April. We'll continue to fly American however, we have to use up our miles!

    On time, comfortable. Inexpensive. The crew was very friendly. We grade landings on a 1 to 10 scale. These flights were both 9's. We love this airline, hands down.
