My first leg of the trip, SAT-HOU was delayed for close to three hours. Lucky (?) for me, the HOU-CUN leg was also delayed, which allowed me to make the connection.

The return flight was uncertain, passengers were not informed at check-in of the delay until I arrived at the departure gate in CUN. Misinformation regarding new gate confused several of us. Eventually the change of departure gate was announced, and the late flights finally departed. I missed my connection and all the flights were full from HOU-SAT, so I had to stand by for that segment on the two last flights that evening. Eventually was able to make the last one.

I received excellent service at the President's Club in San Antonio and the ladies were keeping me abreast of changes and trying to protect me on available flights connecting to my flight out of HOU, once my departure was certain.

This will be the last time I'll travel with them, since on a previous occasion we landed in Cozumel instead of Cancun to refuel since there was a storm and we couldn't land right away. We had been waiting for our departure from Hou in line to take off for over three hours and the plane just simply had no fuel to spare.

Never again!
