US airways does not bring a wheelchair down the ramp to pick up someone who cannot walk all the way up, until all of the other passengers are off loaded. This caused us some anxiety, as our return flight layover in Philadelphial was only 30 minutes. They said it wasn't their policy to bring a chair down the ramp until everyone is off. We did request fast transport from the arrival plane to the next gate and my husband was able to very slowly walk up the ramp to the terminal, where we waited 5 more minutes for the electric car. We saw where the departure terminal was, compared to where we landed, and we were concerned as it was a fair distance we had to go. She had a copy of our paperwork request for the electric cart in her hand. but didn't look at it. She tried to drop us off at terminal A, and told us we could walk to somewhere or other-. We told her again that we were going to terminal B. She took us to our gate where they were boarding and a wheelchair was brought to take my husband to the plane. We did make our connection.
