I traveled from Rochester to Buffalo to take the flight based on the price. I'm on a fixed income and price matters. The loading on the plane was a joy because Southwest doesn't charge for checked bags (2) therefore we didn't have the usual people with huge carry-ons trying to stuff them in the overhead bins. It was quick and painless. As soon as the door closed the attendants said is everyone ready to go and people actually cheered. This was a huge difference to me, all my previous flights had been on the "major" airlines, which felt like sitting in a holding cell the whole trip. Service was great all during the trip and we actually got updates from the pilot on a regular basis. My return flight was the same, great. The counter and gate people were friendly and appeared to be having fun, what a difference. All in all a fabulous experience !

The whole trip was perfect without a problem and right on schedule. We received a nice surprise that our seats were the extended leg room ones without having to pay extra. This was for flights both directions. I had booked these seats myself on-line and was able to choose the up-grade without any charge. We were also surprised on the flight from Las Vegas to Chicago when the steward from First Class came down the isles with free offering of the same treats served in First Class. They must of been extras but we enjoyed them.
