Recently flew RDU to HOU to Las, flying our "grandbaby dog" thru Continental PetSafe Program. We had never flown with a pet before and stressed ourselves out, concerned about getting our dog safely and well to our son in LAS. The people at Cargo handling the PetSafe were wonderful, answering all questions, did everything as advertized, and went above and beyond to help us. Our dog breezed off the plane and was perfectly fine and was VERY happy to be reunited with our son, thanks to Continental!

Wheel chair was on time, friendly and courteous service. Excellent information from the Captain on weather, enroute and at destinations. Landings were outstanding! I know, as I have been flying as a pilot for the past 73 years. Check-in personnel were friendly & helpful. One area that I would make a recommendation on is the passengers who bring two (2) bags on board and stuff them in the overhead bins. STOP the ABUSE.

Too much carry-on caused delays in loading and unloading passengers. A personal note....the passenger in front of me had an exit row which gave him extra room - then he decided to recline his seat.No seats should be able to recline - especially exit row seats.

The flight was great and even greater were the tips the stewardess gave. She told of being able to eat a REAL steak, not hamburger, potato, salad, and not canned but REAL and green beans and free root beer for $6.99 in Vegas at Ellis Island restaurant. I have been here 2 days and have eaten there twice.

Staff and crew were great. On such a long flight, it is advisable to take some of your own snacks. As with all airlines lately, the only snacks offered by the crew were chips, cookies, etc. However, Southwest does let you take what you want, not limited.

I have flown just about every major airline in the US and some of the minor ones, and Southwest is by far the best. The booking process on their website is straightforward. You have to book on their website, however, which keeps their fares low. If you look later and find a cheaper Southwest flight and want to change to it, you can change with no change fees or penalties. If your ticket was nonrefundable, they will give you the difference as a credit for a future flight. Online check-in for the flight is available 24 hours in advance. You will receive your boarding pass with a letter and number (A,B,C and 1-60). This is your boarding order, so the sooner you check in online, the earlier you board the plane. Southwest has an open seating policy, so if you find a vacant seat, you may sit there, which is why it's desirable to board the plane as early as possible. Also, you want to ensure there is room in the overhead bins for any carry-ons that won't fit under the seat. If you don't have a printer when you're checking in online (from your phone, say), you can print your boarding pass at the airport. When you arrive at the airport, you can check up to 2 bags for free. That is a very nice benefit! The flight itself is always fun. The flight attendants make the pre-flight safety briefing entertaining and enjoyable. Once you're airborne, the flight attendants come through and take your drink order. They also have a basket of snacks that they bring by, and you're able to take what you like. If you want to watch a movie or listen to music, you'll have to provide that yourself, as there are no fancy in-flight entertainment systems. Soon, you'll be at your destination with a smile on your face. Southwest always seems to provide excellent service. And, if you fly them for 8 roundtrips in a two year period, you can earn a free roundtrip flight to anywhere Southwest flies. The free flight even comes with drink coupons for 2 complimentary adult beverages on your free flight. What else could you ask for?

The flight was long almost 5 hours from Atlanta to Las Vegas. No drinks were served until 2 hours into the flight. No real food, just a very small pack of pretzils.
