Due to the weather we had a 2 hour delay in departure, but once in the air the stewards were great and the flight was smooth. The return trip was smooth and with the help of tail winds quick.

Our Delta flights were all on time and the service was good. We did get peanuts and pretzels. My only complaint is the $25 per bag fee but all but Southwest charges that. I'd rather see my ticket $25 more. The baggage fee seems insulting to me.

I love living a 15 minute taxi ride from my local airport! The fact that I can get a nonstop flight on Southwest makes it fabulous. I have been on practically every domestic carrier and most international carriers. Southwest has the most pleasant on board staff. They are always in a great mood and consistently courteous. I used to fly United exclusively. I have had a few trips with them that kept changing my flights over a 2 month period before taking my trip. It was nerve wracking to say the least. Add the huge baggage fees to the mix and now I fly Southwest as much as possible.
It has been smooth and pleasant. I don't think that's too much to expect.
They are the best!
