First of all, all the attendants and Delta employees were incredible. They were all helpful and friendly. However, the connection flight was over an hour late due to mechanical issues, and my next flight had left early due to overbooking. Since I have a tight schedule, this was extremely inconvenient. Even so, I was impressed with the fact that Delta provided a voucher for a hotel room as well as incidental expenses (totaling up to $12.00, which at least covered food), and was able to fly me out the next morning. So, good customer service, but a little bit of proactive action would have been appreciated.
