I recently flew with my two young daughters from PITT to Ft.Lauderdale. I was really nervous about the flight. I was so satisfied with Air Tran. Infact on the way home we flew on a "WELL KNOW BIG NAMED" airline and I was so diappointed. Air Tran staff was so friendly and welcoming. Keep up the good work.

Allow the passengers with no carryons to exit plane first. Staff was helpful and friendly!!! Would prefer less add-on fees for comfort.

I took my mother on vacation she needed wheelchair assistance @ both airports from Pittsburgh, PA to Ft. Lauderdale, FL & back and I must say both Airports were excellent in providing that. The AirTran staff at the airports were also excellent.
Our flight on AirTran was excellent, everything was smooth from the flight to the crew. I would definately fly with them again.

Only glich was that the male attendant at the ticket counter upon check-in said our 2 intended carry on bags were too large and had to be checked resulting in a $25 fee each. Other on flight had same size bags and used them as their carry on. Not happy!

seats are too crowded. Not enough leg room, and just enough room to sit down and buckel up. No room to turn or move for comfort. If person next to you is of average size, they are hanging over seat arms.

Preferred non stop, but outbound was originally non stop and changed to a connection. All flights were good, on time and no problems. Tight connection in ATL - had to go from D7 to C7. They had already started boarding when we got there.
Otherwise all was fine.

We haven't had any problems with any of our trips on Air Tran to FLL (three in the past three years) and find them very efficient and accommodating. My husband and I have one question to all airline companies: Why do they not load passengers with seats in the rear first. This eliminates all of the delays in the aisle as passengers in seats 6A, 6B, 6C, etc., hold back the other loading passengers coming on to the plane while they put their oversized luggage in the above-seat bins where they must push and pull to get it into the bins. If row number 36 goes into the plane first, those five passengers move quickly and efficiently put their luggage in the overhead bins, thus passengers in row 35 comes behind and loads efficiently also and out through the rows until the plane is quickly filled. Probably the airlines look at it as courtesy to the rows in the front of the plane (not including the first class passengers--they go on first always anyway.) This loading process could really make it so much more efficient for everyone.

It's difficult to find non stop flights out of PIT these days, so we paid a little extra for the convenience. Super easy online check-in. The equipment needs upgraded badly. The seats feel like folding chairs. And on this flight the lavatory door had no way of locking, and the wash basin wouldn't empty. The flight attendents could be a bit more pleasant, but it was a 7 AM flight ;)

We were flying from PIT to FLL to go on a cruise....we used the choice air to book our air....they sent us through Detroit going to and returning...how BACKWARDS can that be?? The flights were fine except they wouldn't change them without $$$ going down and once the cruise line printed our boarding passes we couldn't change the flight home...we had to leave the ship at 9:00 am and our flight wasn't until 3:15 pm....sat at the airport for more than 6 hours....CRAZY!! We didn't even get offered a drink on the DET to PIT flight....never again!!

The flight was definitely worth the price, trying to get an affordable flight out of Cleveland, OH is unusual at best some times. The flight was 10 minutes early something that might be helpful for someone with a connecting flight.

Good flight as usual. Good flight crew. We went on a cruise and used a service called Bags2Go (link through Southwest's website) to handle our bags for the return. Cost us $20 for both bags and was worth it not to have to deal with the bags. They checked them for us right at the cruiseport and gave us our boarding passes. Cruiseline offered same service for $20 each person, so we saved $20.

Southwest is the best - checking in is so easy! Pittsburgh airport the best - love to shop while I am waiting! A good bit of turbulence in Florida, otherwise okay flight.

Flight from ft. lauderdale to orlando was fine but had delay getting to gate due to lightening. Flight from orlando to pittsburgh was delayed by 30 min. Paid the extra $10 this time, got to sit in row 5 with rest of the family. Really get the feeling employees love their jobs.

The actual flight was fine. But the pilot didn't show up on time so we were at least a half hour late leaving. Captian provided nice info during the trip; flight attendents were ok - nothing special. Plane itself was dirty (especially floor) and it had been sitting at the gate for over an hour so they had plenty of time to clean. Just seemed like everyone was second guessing each other.

This trip was originally ticketed as a direct flight both ways. The airlines changed this going down to FLL with a stop via ATL, so a hour and half flight changed to a three hour tour. Okay, we adjusted to this. But it actually changed to an eight hour day of traveling. Additional planes delays delayed the plans. At least we were in the ATL airport and not stuck in a plane. Just not at all what was planned for. The actual trip in the plane was fine. I just wish it plans had stayed the way they were originally planned for.
