We arrived at 8:15 am.for our 10:15 flight We were late in leaving DC as the plane was late in arriving, then TSA decided that they needed to check everyone boarding pass and ID before we are allowed to board, I guess they thought we changed once we cleared security. When arriving in Chicago, we had to run from A45 to B18 because they ere already boarding. So NO LUNCH and NO time to get any!Peanuts do not help much. Then had to stop in St. Louis that we were nort aware of and finally got to Phoenix at 3pm with the time changes we were now 12 house with only peanuts! For for sale would have been good. Also when animals are permitted to travel, they must be in a container that allows then to stand up and completely turn around. Why is this NOT the same for HUMAN passengers????????

It was a Southwest out to DC (Dulles) and back - you take them for price not frills or comfort.

Apparently there was a mechanical issue with the plane on the flight leaving ATL to Phoenix. There was a bit of a delay (maybe 40-45 minutes) to get another plane, but it's well worth it for a safe trip!

We were delayed out of Atlanta, so not too bad. It pays to pay for seat selection and early boarding.
