    I traveled to and within Brazil all on Tam.

    JFK to Sao Paolo to Salvador do Bahia to Rio de Janiero to Iguaso do Falls to Manaus to Sao Paolo back home to JFK. I was first impressed with it's on time performance. We departed and arrived on time for each leg of the trip!! On some ocassions we actually arrived early. The flight attendants were friendly and attentive. The flights were all smooth. This was my first flight on TAM. My last trip to Brazil which was absolutely horrible was on Varig which is no longer in operation. I will travel TAM on future trips not only to Brazil but to other international destinations

    Seats don't lie flat, food was exceptionally uninvitingly presented and of marginal quality delivered by a staff who seemed bored and indiffernt to their guests' enjoyment. Best part of the flight was the video, which offered an interesting selection of media. Time for Delta to upgrade its service to one of the world's fastest growing markets or risk loosing it to TAM, an excellent airline.
