Good flight,especially at the right price,unheard of since the 80's! $342 for round trip NYC- Paris CDG- Direct on the way there, one-stop thru Madrid on the way back, ok I had to be at CDG at 615am that day but, hey, I told you $342, thaks to airfarewatchdog!

Was surprised that I had to pay for food, check in at JFK was very smooth but coming back at Charles de Gaulle it took a very long time for check in, layover was very quick (the 2nd airplane waited for our 1st plane to arrive), service was very friendly

Overnight flights are always uncomfortable in economy class. Couldn't sleep. Seat didn't recline at all. Food was decent. Attendants accommodating. Champagne was free and very welcome. Usual exhaustion at end of flight.

the flight left on time and all was smooth .. but the plane did not have individual entertainment units which I come to expect on overseas flights.

the seating was very comfortable. I'm 6'2" so this important to me on a trans atlantic flight. The media selection was good. The flight crew was very nice.
