We have flown from New York to the Philippines using Cathay Pacific twice. We generally stay over in Hong Kong (Cathay's hub) for a few days. We have gotten good prices by calling Cathay's US 800 number, better prices than at Cathay's website. Of course the seats are cramped in economy seats but the service is good and the food quite good.
