I had a coupon but in the end paid more than if I would have with another carrier. The seats are very tightly spaced, I had not experienced this on other Spirit aircraft! I think it is just this aircraft that flies this rought. The ups and extras for the seat, bags, etc. are terrible. Before you know it they will charge you to use the lavatory!

CHECKED ONE BAG EACH WAY AND PREPAID FOR TWO. NO RETURN OF MONEY. WEIGHT WAS 41 LBS GOING AND 46 LBS COMING HOME.
WAS TOLD AT THE RETURN AIRPORT CHECK IN THAT SPIRIT CHANGED THE MAXIMUM WEIGHT FOR CHECKED BAGS FROM 50 LBS TO 40 LBS WITH NO COMMUNICATION FROM SPIRIT. THIS AIRLINE IS VERY DISORGANIZED, LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND NICKLE AND DIMES THE PASSENGERS AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY. NEVER FLYING SPIRIT AGAIN, IT IS JUST NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION.

Unable to even cross legs..had to push to put bag under seat in front of me..no room between my legs and seat in front of me!!! Egads..!

I recently flew Spirit with my wife and I was dissapointed that they charge for everything, a base cost for the flight, a charge for your seat that fluctuates depending on were you sit, and speaking of seats, I am 6' tall and I sat in row 18 and my legs were cramped, thankfully it was an hour flight, I could not imagine flying over an hour. Then they charge for luggage, checked and in the overhead as well as for soft drinks, and did I mention no magazine on board. I was surprised that they did not charge to use the lavatory but I guess that will be next.
All in all even with a 100 dollar discount I paid $426 for our flights so in the end no bargain for me. Next time I will take another carrier.
