Gate change, no announcement. Trekked to changed gate. Departure notice says "delay." (the only delay on the entire board at MSP) No departure time given. Eventually, the 3pm scheduled departure time was changed to 4:45PM. That came a went. Again no reason given. Then the announcements came - more delay, no explanation. New departure time 5:45PM. But plane not at the gate yet! Plane arrived then and the actual departure time was 6:10PM and finally left the ground after sitting on the run way for half an hour or so. So far, so good. Never a word of why and a vague "sorry" for the delay. The return flight was overly full and the seating, well I am only 125lbs, 5'2", could not even cross my legs, to give an idea of how tight the seating was. No compensation given for the inconvenience! I suppose I am expecting too much! Remembering the old days. The pilot did a splendid job of holding the plane steady during turbulence. Glad his computer was working.

When we got on the plkane everal people found they were booked on non-existing seats; possibly a larger plane was expected. The attendents did their best to seat groups together and kept their good humor which helped the passangers keep theirs, They were very good about everything. The ground crew however seem befuddled to say the least about everything concerning which plane and what doors to use (two gates at DWI were very clost together and the passangers seeemed disinclined to respond to call to board. All wporked out well, though and I will use this airline again. Just wish it came to Fargo. THe drive home from the airport was twice as long as the flight itself,

The Sun COuntry airline experience was great, the flight crew was friendly and courteous. The flight was smooth and the captain was real informative about the scenerey below, check in experience was excellent and I liked the fact that the airline personnel called and informed me that the return flight was delayed by two hours. However my experience with TSA was horrible?! There is no uniformity to what you can pack for either your checked or take-on luggage, so one check point will tell you your items are okay and you get to the next security check point and they discard your items. MSP security tested an expensive tube of lotion I had and cleared it as okay, where Dulles Security refused to test it and supposedly threw it out. I wondered if the female security person wanted it for herself, as her male counterpart kind of just shook his head at her and chuckeled under his breath?

Our flight was very pleasurable. We left on time and arrived a bit early. The staff was outstanding!!! We would fly Delta again and the best part was it was non-stop compared to all the other airlines that we looked had one stop.
