“The worst experience checking in MSP”

When I checked in on Thursday, Sept.9th at MSP,
I was running late because I had gone to the wrong terminal, the woman from AirTran who was at the counter at Terminal 2 and helped me, even though I still had 15 - 20 minutes to run to the gate, did not help me at all, she refused to call her supervisor at the gate so she would informed the crew what had happened to me before they closed the door of the plane (the boarding pass says "show at the gate up to 10 minutes before take off".
She checked me in and immediately put me in another flight as stand by. The same for the Atlanta flight, I was in stand by. Making me late for my arrival at Tampa airport where I was going to rent a car and drive for 1 hour to a place I had never been before.
My first time driving in another state as well.
Poor customer service from Air Tran Check In Desk.
