Recently flew home from Denver over the Christmas holidays, and was wowed by early bird check in (a must and so worth it). Scheduled for a stop at Midway, but did not have to change planes. Midway stop was canceled, but they let those of us flying to Manchester NH to continue with a STRAIGHT THROUGH flight. We arrived early, the flight crew was the best I have ever had, seriously, and it was a wonderful experience. Many airlines could have canceled the flight and waited for a full flight, but Southwest did everything possible to accommodate those who were not going to make it (due to Chicago's low ceiling)& fulfill the rest of us flying. Also like the ease of Southwest check ins, no nickel & diming you on baggage and no hassle change your flight itinerary.
