If you book your ticket early - do not pick a seat near the front as they will sat you last and all the overhead bins will be taken. They announce policies to keep them clear, but do not enforce them at all - even when you point out people taking bins up front who have seats in the back or put thing in the bins the policy says go below the seat. So your carry on ends up checked or way in the back where you cannot reach it until everyone departs and mine was almost stolen.

All was good, the plane was on-time, clean and the crew were good...seats were VERY uncomfortable on the flight going to Phoenix...much more comfortable (larger plane) on the return.

Was actually disappointed on the flight going to Phoenix...

Once again Southwest has delivered on their "friendly skys". I continually find these short hops to and from phoenix to be on time, friendly and reasonably comfortable. What is it about assigned seating that makes steward/stewardesses such miserable people to be around?
