Tailwinds got us there in 3 and one half hours! YEAH! Had time for 2 sodas and 2 cookies. No bumps and easy landing.

Free first bag if Amx card holder. That was nice...saved $50 on a RT flight. Flight was full and overheads were taken so people had their carry-ons stored in baggage area for no charge.

We had a death in the family and had to come home immediately. We could not get a flight out of San Diego fro three days and had to rent a car and drive to LA. They had no breavement fairs left. The only flight was $1200 each(one quote) and $900 each the next time we called back, so we used our frequent flyer miles. They charged us 60000 miles for a one way flight for one ticket and 40000 miles for the second one way ticket and $170 each for fees because it was a last minute flight. We could not get a seat assignment and didn't know for sure that we would get on the flight until right before boarding. After emailing a complaint the reply I received was this is Delta's policy.
