Although I prefer the ambiance and cute safety video offered by Virgin America, JetBlue is definitely the best airline we have. I was shocked upon boarding to see that each seat had a bag of premium chips, and cookies. The beverage service was limited to 4-5 options and the snacks were passed out in advance, due to the very short flight (45 min). This is a very smart tactic which I had not seen before, despite flying hundreds of times on countless airlines all over the world. Most airlines would just not serve anything or only offer drink service. Not to mention that only a couple airlines in America offer anything at all to eat, even on a 5 hour flight. The free in-seat Directv and Sirius radio was also an invaluable perk. The fact that I only paid $30 for this flight was icing on the cake, but even at 3-4 times that price, it is still a bargain. This was probably the best domestic flight I have taken in economy, and my first choice in airlines for any domestic flight. I also love LGB airport. The old-world style of using stairs on the tarmac is actually a nice change of pace, and it is just so easy and stress-free of an airport, especially compared to the other airports in the LA area.

My JetBlue flight was over 2 hours late taking off due to weather. The gate personnel kept everyone updated on the plane. When we did take off they were not able to offer any service due to turbulence. This was not their fault & they were very professional as always. JetBlue is trying to please & it shows!

Their planes are up to date, clean and roomy seats. Their individual TV selection is great (and free), their refreshment ordering is simple, their staff are efficient and friendly. Four Stars!
