OVERBOOKED, oversold, bumped, we had to pay $50 apiece extra to get rerouted. We spent 19 hours in three airports ON STANDBY with no assigned seating, scared we would be lost in limbo. At check in in Vegas, we were only 56 minutes early, and therefore 'LATE' and I was angered at the hour we waited for the desk to fix our new tickets. Finally we joked that they were playing a video game back there, and they laughed and said they were using a 25 YEAR OLD COMPUTER SYSTEM. At the boarding gates at each layover, defensive clerks repeatedly asked people to volontarily give up their seats for a $400 voucher as they were OVERBOOKED. Delta loves to fly with NO EMPTY SEATS and lots of ANGRY customers on the ground. Shame on them!
