Once arriving at Kansas City International, I was informed that my flight was going to be delayed by 2 hours. When asking the man at the Southwest Counter about my soon to be connecting flight in St. Louis, I was spoke to very rudely and was told again that my flight there had been delayed by 3 hours and I would not be arriving in Raleigh-Durham until 3:45 AM. Though this was disappointing, I sat down and began my wait. Once I arrived in St. Louis, I was once again notified that my flight had been futher more delayed and I would be arriving to Raleigh even later than planned. I once again took my seat to wait, just like before. After 5 or 6 changes of time of departure and arrival, we were notified at 1:00 AM that the flight would be cancelled and we would have to stay in St. Louis for the night. We recieved vouchers for a hotel for the night at "The Pear Tree Inn" which the man giving us the vouchers claimed was very nice. (Keep in mind that I am a 18 year old girl staying in St. Louis for the night ALONE). Before taking the shuttle to the airport, we recieved our bags. Since our bags had been outside waiting for the plane and it was raining, my bag was completely soaked.. outside and eventually I found out it has leaked onto my belongings on the inside. Hoping the night would not get any worse, I was once again proved wrong when arriving at "The Pear Tree Inn". I was not able to sleep well that night, being scared for my safety. Though it was not the most horrible place, I believe Southwest could have been more courteous when assigning the location of our vouchers. Overall, I am very upset with my traveling experience.
