    Good flight - on time. Checking in was very easy, the gentleman that helped me was very nice. Tickets were purchased on line and had to get actual ticket out, but didn't bring that credit card with me. So he helped me.

    My husband became seriously ill and was hospitalized the night before our flight. We had to cancel the flight. I was very disappointed that Airtran would not refund our money and charged us $347 for canceling. They did give us a credit toward another flight that must be booked by June 2011.

    1st x flying with Airtran....great experience...BUT we booked 7 months early and had a non stop rtn flight, but they bumped us to a different flight and we had a layover on the rtn...wasn't too happy about that, when we got to the airport and saw our orig flight was still going out...didn't understand how/why we were bumped...all worked out ok, just made us get to final destination a bit later.

    The check-in was chaotic, but the women helping us was very attentive and helpful considering how busy it was and that many of the kiosks were out of order. Our 1 piece of checked luggage was overweight so she gave us time to unload some items and get us on our way.

    I have a mobility handicap and travel often. AirTran personal from curb side check in, to baggage retrieval remind me of the good old days of travel, with crews that were well groomed, attentive and in good spirits. I look forward to my flights again, instead of dreading them, knowing that I can expect good treatment and arrive on time.

    Most everyone at SWA is friendly, happy and really seem to want to take care of their passengers! The airline does not gouge its passengers with stupid fees either! I will always fly SWA unless I have no option to.

    The flight was pleasant (except for a little turbulence toward the end) and the cost was economical. I especially loved the fact that it was a direct flight. The only downside is that I had to drive to Indianapolis, IN to catch a reasonably-priced flight when I live 45 miles southwest of Louisville, KY! This added nearly 3 hours to my trip. Why are there never good prices out of Louisville?
