After we all boarded the plane, and were ready for leaving the gate, the captain informed us about a small maintenance issue related to the previous night torrential rain over Indy. The famous now Pitot(sp.?) tubes were flooded and had to be dried for the sake of safety of the flight. "Few minutes, and we will be on our way." The mechanic was working on another plane and, when he came it wasn't that easy for him to handle everything, as predicted. In short, we left Indy after 9:00 AM, instead 7:10 AM, and landed in Atlanta at 10:40. Why the crew didn't anticipated the problem, before boarding the plane?

The return flight (same day, 5:10 PM) was as good as it gets.

Departing from Indy checkin was a breeze, no lines, and our flight got to ATL early. Coming home was also pleasant, no lines at checkin, we had seats behind first class, airplane was clean. Bags were delivered quickly.
