“Cramped quarters but good service”

We traveled to Japan on Continental Airlines direct from Houston. The flight was smooth and service was good. My only complaint was the children to the rear and aft of us. For our flight to Narita, we experienced our seat been kicked alot. My wife tried to get it stopped once but it did not change anything. We could not move because the flight was full. It made for what was already a long flight, longer. In-flight services were good. I guess I would be asking too much for a more comfortable seat in economy. It will be too bad when United takes over.

Continental service from Houston to Japan was excellent. Food was even good! Also, return trip from Shanghai to Newark.
Delta flight from Japan to Beijing was clearly inferior to Continental flight.

flew to toyko out of houston on a sale ticket they offered in april. the price was outstanding but the plane was old the food both ways was bad cold tasteless my lap table was broken both ways i told the flight crew and they acted like sorry but it has been like that for some time. seats were old and used up. if it was not for the low price i would not fly delta, but they manage not to lose my baggage. bathrooms needed a overall not a good way to spend 12 hours.
