3/10/2011, Flight #582, upon arrival at fll @6:30am, we were informed that our flight was delayed until 10am. Prior to leaving our home I checked both my cell and email to see if there was any problem with our impending flight. No contact was attempted or made by Jetblue. The desk people at F2 told us that there was a mechanical problem, after 2 hours we were told that it was now a weather issue. Shortly thereafter we were informed that we were now awaiting the arrival of the flight crew. Where were they originally, shouldn't they have been there for the originally scheduled 8:10am departure? Breakfast vouchers were not offered unless the passenger actually sought out the attendant and requested one. We were given $8 a person. Many passengers went without because unless one of the other passengers told them of the vouchers they were not aware of them. Finally @ 10:50am we took off. The crew was competent and attentive. The pilot landed the plane without any trouble in an otherwise stormy situation.
