I'll remember to include baggage fee when shopping for a flight next time. Round trip for 2 = $100 more. Picnic lunch on board was $5 and it was questionable if consumable.

Nothing special about this flight. One of the flight attendants was very cheerful/funny ... she was retiring in a few days. She reminded me of attendants on Southwest! Flight got in on time and was able to make connection without a problem. As most airlines do today, they pack the plane to the max.

I loved the comfy seats, the interactive video/tv/music, the in-flight service by touchpad, and timely dep/arrival. Somewhat short on legroom.

Nothing really to write home about, except that my traveling partner's TV screen would go in and out depending upon the position of the woman sitting in the seat in which it was mounted.

My wife and I celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary by returning to San Francisco where we had celebrated our first wedding anniversary. When we mentioned this to the flight crew, they celebrated with us by comping our drinks and meal. All employees we encountered at VA were friendly and helpful. The flight departed late due to Air Traffic Control, but we still arrived in SFO early.
Return flight was delayed due to weather. However we arrived in FLL only a half hour late. The only negative was VA's service fees and charges can mount up pretty quickly. The 8.00 charge to watch a movie was annoying, especially since many of the free channels on the Direct TV were not operating on the return flight. Overall, I would fly VA again.

Plane wasn't packed - empty middle seat which helped. Love the little TV at the seat. Makes the time go by faster. Better leg room than most in ecnomy which also helps. Don't use bev carts so you can get to the Lav while they are serving snacks.

The Jet Blue customer service was somewhat disorganized at the ticket counter in FLL as was the customer service at the gate, however the flight and cabin service was good and we were on time if not just a little early with our arrival into SFO.

Comfortable leather seats with adequate leg room, good overhead storage, personal TV, clean toilets, pleasant service, minimum blocked aisles. Good economy choice!
