The front desk personnel at the Frontier counter in DIA was not nice at all!!!!!!!!!! I fly exculsively FRONTIER. I couldn't believe how rude the personnel was at DIA.

There was a small glitch in the computer system for checking in. We couldn't use the kiosks and had to have the customer service people check us in. I was told this was because of the merger between Midwest Airlines and Frontier. It was a small delay but nothing terrible. The flight was good. I was on the first flight of the day. The crew was personable and cheery. Had a change of planes in MKE to a smaller plane into MSN. It was pretty turbulant but the flight was so short that it didn't really matter. We arrived earlier than scheduled. The flight back was a direct flight and we arrived 30 minutes early - again very nice!!

Don't expect to take your carry-on bad with you on this flight. The Check-In staff automatically gives you a check-in tag, regardless of how small your carry on bag is. Mine was a miniature roll-on that I knew fit perfectly under the seat but they insisted I had to check it. I did not and it fit fine ! But it gets better. You're assigned a seat way n the back of the place (row 20 or higher). If you want to change your seat to a better one, United will be glad to oblige for $39. Apparently nobody bought that one so as we boarded the plane, the first 20 rows were empty. The back of the plane, rows 20 and beyond, was packed. Mind you these are the narrowest seats I've ever experienced and I fly a lot (not united obviously). After taking off, a few people moved to the empty seats ahead only to be told by the snooty flight attendant that there was a fee to use these empty seats and if they sat there, they would be charge upon landing. So for 2 hours, we all sat like sardines in the back while dozens of seats in front of us sat empty. I'd be willing to bet they'll start charging for using the overhead bins and the restrooms next. Such greed !
