My connecting flight thru Newark was cancelled. I had registered for flight notification...I was notified 2 hrs B4 the flight..BUT, rebooked on an EARLIER flight that Continental NEVER alerted me to! I FOUND out by checking "my account" & my Confirmation # on Continental's website! They texted me that I'd been rebooked FOR THE FOLLOWING DAY...same flights. Furthermore, I was on hold for over an hour and NEVER was able to talk to anyone. The customer service people on the ground were as helpful as they could be...but, Customer Service @ gate D9 was GROSSLY understaffed in Cleveland where they'd dumped us.
