They allowed me to sit in the bulkhead seat because of my knee pain. I really appreciated that.

We didn't really get much attention because the flights were not very full and the attendants sat in the back most of the time.

This flight was delayed for 4 hours going out and after taxiing away from gate pilot came on to tell us of a mechanical "issue" so we taxied back to the gate and waited for mechanics to come fix the plane. On the return flight to DFW our flight was delayed by 2 hours. The weather seemed fine both flights, sunny and cloudy. I have no idea what the issues where and noone at American felt the need to explain. My previous flight on American took me to Leon, Mexico (my final destination was San Miguel de Allende). American lost my suitcase but not my other checked item and it was never found. It took the airlines many months to compensate me for the loss. I will not fly American again unless they are the airline left.
