I feel that the airlines are now letting passengers bring on a lot more (carryon) luggage than they should. There was not enough room in the bins and it necessitated still putting them in the belly of the plane (not mine). Also when they bring those large pieces of luggage through the aisle, if you are in the aisle seat, you better watch out, you just might lose a part of your body from being hit. I know that they do not want to pay the fee for their bags or wait for their luggage to come off the plane when they reach their destination. but they should have more consideration for the other passengers. This is a real pet peeve of mine on every flight that I go on, not just Southwest, but all of them. I thought there was a code for carry ons. Maybe I am mistaken. I now choose a window seat since I received a large bruise on my arm by someone trying to put a large suitcase in the bin over my seat. Thanks for letting me vent.
