My ticket was close to $400, 14-day advance purchase, direct flight, no add on's like assigned seating but did pay for one checked bag RT. Way too expensive for a no-thrills experience. Wouldn't even give me a glass of ice water when I asked for it! Wouldn't let me have my sound barrier head set on during take off/landing even though its not electronic but rather to mask the horrendous noise of the engines. Smart Aleck crew members - assumed all of us were going to Vegas to party - they were as unruly as some drinking passengers. Very devious website - watch everything carefully - keep an eye on the prices because they are always adding fees subtly. Hate the feeling that they were greedily trying to nickel and dime me. Wouldn't fly with them again unless they were my only option.

This was my first flight on Allegiant. They are no frills, but the seating was excellent. We had as much legroom as on an economy-plus United seat. Check-in was fast and easy and they even gave us a free baggage upgrade (checked bags at no additional cost). Charging for soft drinks was a bit much, but for the price, and considering the fact that they were the only non-stop carrier between Colorado Springs and Las Vegas, I was favorably impressed.

My husband and I just traveled to Vegas via Allegiant airlines and used the new cattle round up oh I mean the new open seating system. The system seemed to work well. However it would have been nice to know the process prior to waiting for instructions over the PA system. I still can't believe they incourage you to hydrate yourself for flying however they charge outragious fees for a bottle of water. I guess it is 50 cents cheaper than the airport but about 12 oz smaller as well. Who ever heard of $2 for a 12oz soda. What a rip off. They get you coming and going. Pay for luggage and to have a water.... no end
