After having a couple of real nightmares at the White Plains airport in the past (3 days of no luggage--because they forgot to put it on the plane, and then didn't get around to delivering it---just in time for my 40th HS reunion; and a non-sensical "late ticketing" TSA detainment so I missed the last possible flight out after being deplaned by AA for a flat tire on the tarmak and then reticketed on another airline), I have developed a shivering at the thought of returning to that terminus. In comparison, anything that gets me and my luggage there at approximately the right time without the necessity for a public melt down to get airline attention, is good. This flight was delayed a half-hour, and we had to walk across the tarmak in the rain, and the narrow American Eagle seats were somewhat girdle-ish, and I did bump my head a few times on the overhead bins, but the service was friendly and the flight went along as planned once we were in the air. These days, that's a success.
