Over 90% of my options originating out of Charlotte, NC are USAirways.

Over 90% of all Charlotte USAirways passengers are connecting.

I originate and return to Charlotte 2-3 times per month.

Almost every trip the passenger beside of me connecting through Charlotte is going to my final destination for much less airfare.

I must drive to Greenville, SC, Greensboro, NC or Raleigh, NC and connect back through Charlotte to make many trips worth the expense.

US Airways just tells Charlotte customers how lucky we are to have so many non stop destinations from this airport.

The business community would welcome any and all competition ASAP.

Continental Airlines has become my favorite and I had purchased trip insurance on a non-refundable fare. I was treated so well on my way down to IAH. and when I needed to come home early, I was placed on a standby list. I should have gotten flexible fare or a different class of ticket, but there aren't any first class on that route. So I thought the insurance would cover it when I was discharged from a scheduled hospital admission early, but it doesn't, as a less than hepful phone rep explained.

I am a frequent flier but not with elite status. Someone from the elite desk saw my futile attempts to check in at the kiosk. He put me put me on the standby list ( there were 4 sold out flights that day) and Continental also gave me a gate pass so I could clear the TSA and go get my first real meal in weeks. I wound up at home the following morning, but now, I just want to earn that elite status, and buy those upgraded tickets thanks to the way I was treated by the IAH booking agents at Continental. Thank you, Continental Airlines. I will stay in your network and buy refundalbe tickets next time!

Continental flight attendants were most attentive efficient and courteous on both flights. How delightful that one was offered seconds on drinks. My return flight was during lunch time. I could hardly believe it when I was handed a delicious little sandwich instead of a bag of pretzels or peanuts. Way to go Continental!
