The flight from Charlotte, NC to Denver, CO was a very good flight. There was only one stop on the way in Atlanta, GA. in which we changed planes and that was uneventful. I would certainly fly Air Tran again if need be. The flight crew was very nice and attentative to the needs of the passengers.

Seats are small and overhead luggage compartments are smaller. The positive was the one seat I was assigned that only had 2 seats per row vs 3 seats per row.

I paid more for this trip than what I got in return. No free snack, and I had to pay to check my bag.....even though I'm a frequent flier with US and use my US Air credit card to pay for US Air flights. Not my favorite airline, though it serves the routes I fly. Looking forward to the merger of Southwest and AirTran....and hoping I have better choices (and prices) for my favorite routes.

First leg of trip (CLT) to (DFW)- Few passengers so we could spread out. Temperature was FREEZING. Could only get a blanket for $8. Finally they turned the temperature up. Stewardesses very nice. Return flight (DEN) to (CLT), planes were crowded and we were in the last seats. Stewardesses in area behind us were VERY NOISY and talking loud. Otherwise, trip was good.

It was a non-stop 3-4 hour dinner-time flight. If it weren't for my two neighbors on either side of me that were delightful, it would have been miserable. We were served a drink early-on, but not even a pretzel after that. I would have expected a movie for that length of flight also. I'm not sure the cost-cutting measures that US Air is taking is worth it to the airline. They are now last on my list of airlines to take, and I would imagine I'm not the only one that feels that way.
