My flight was at 7am back to Toronto, unfortunately that day there was a blizzard in mid-April. They loaded passengers on time, yet there was at least a foot of snow on the wings still. Then once we were all seated they announced a 30 minute delay due to runways needing to be plowed. At the 45 min mark, they said we can't move because a plane is blocking us. At the 1 & 15 min mark, they said we needed to now be de-iced. (Why didn't they do this as we sat idle for over an hour? I don't know!) Meanwhile, lucky for me, I ate a Tim's breakfast sandwich before the flight so I wasn't hungry, BUT they only came around and offered water. No drinks, no crackers or cookies as an "i'm sorry" service. They made people cough out their credit cards and buy their $9 sandwiches. I was really unimpressed with their customer service. We finally left at 9:30am, 2 1/2 hours later. No complimentary cookies for those of us who didn't have our credit cards on us (forgot mine!) They could have really avoided the situation had they not loaded into the plane, and just delayed the flight and announced while we were waiting in the lobby. People would have had time to stretch, eat, make their phone calls etc. To top it off, I was so late, I missed my shift at work causing me to take an additional day off.

Flight was little late from Toronto but other than that it was a very good and pleasant flight and landing was the excellent

I was very happy with everything on my last trip to Toronto, I had a wheelchair and someone there to assist me no problem. The only problem was not being made aware that the airline no longer accepts credit cards onboard. The staff was smiling and helpful. Thank you Kathy Lamothe
