Southwest is great on this trip and I use them when going to Buffalo. No stops and most times a very good crew. The only problem is the timing and ususlly late if you take a late afternoon flight. Morning flighs are better for time. We fly with them again.

It's a wonderful thing to fly Southwest. We are taking another one in December and I know it will also be great. In fact, we have decided that if Southwest doesn't fly there, we don't go there. We have run into so many problems with Delta and USAir that I don't trust any of these any more. USAir even denied my husband a wheelchair he needed to get to a different gate. So as I say, from now on it is only SOUTHWEST!!!

Wanted us to keep flight on the day mother -in-law was buried or charge us $300.00 to return frequent flyer points! That's more than 2 tickets cost on a competitive airline. After taking to at least 5 people and insisting on the corporate headquarters contact number we were finally offered new flights( by a very hostile rep) but we had to re-book while we were on the phone. We agreed but they could not find us any flights although we gave them no limitations on time frame. They couldn't find the any flights for months, but still insisted we book.

Ended up flying into a different city which was very inconvenient. Over an hour away from our destination. We had paid for premium seating and they didn't even seat us next to each other. I had to redo the seating at another charge! The morning of our flight I received a call and e-mail that my flight was delayed at least 2 hours. No problem, so I wasn't in any hurry. Worried about my connecting flight I did call to see what would happen. At that time I was told we were not on the later flight but had been re-booked on an earlier flight so we would not miss our connection. Now we had to leave immediately or we would miss that flight. NO ONE let us know we had been re-booked even earlier, only that our flight was delayed!! How incompetent is this airline! Don't have to worry about frequent flyer points anymore. Destroyed my US Airways Dividend card! went with Jet Blue and Southwest. US Airways ,tickets and baggage are more expensive and customer service BITES!

We have been to Orlando 4 times in the last 5 years and we have been traveling with Southwest and never had a problem. From the first year we went they really improved. With all the booking and printing of the boarding pass it really saves time when you get to the airport. Staff is nice and the flight leaving and landing is good. From the time we traveled we never had a problem with leaving late. It is worth the drive from Toronto to Buffalo even if you have le leave you're car at the airport, still cheaper than leaving from Toronto. We are 6 of us that travels sometime at different time but travel with Southwest.

Flew Southwest for the first time from Buffalo to Orlando and back.

Phone agents were helpful when I wanted to update my flights because of cheaper rates...and we got a credit!!!

On line check in was a breeze from my home computer. Did it at the 24 hour mark, and we got group A, # 53-56 going south, and had concierge from Disney hotel check us in at 24 hour mark on return flight, and got group A, # 33-37. We did NOT purchase the early boarding and we still all got to sit together.

Attendants came twice to get drink orders...soda, coffee, juice, etc were complimentary, as well as two small snacks each. Going down...peanuts and pretzels, coming back...peanuts and some really good cinnamon cookie/cracker things.

Both flights took off on time, flights were smooth, and both times landed a little early (non stop flights).

All employees were pleasant, and one attendant on our flight home spent several minutes with my daughters asking about their trip...very nice.

Would most definitely fly Southwest again.

1st time flying Southwest, 1st time flying out of BUF (we're in Toronto) but this family of 4 saved over $1000 USD by driving a couple hrs to fly out of Buffalo. WORTH IT! Southwest was efficient and friendly, they delivered what they promised and saved me a bunch of cash. The online check in and seating procedure worked fine for us. We were in B group on the way out (could not all sit together and got stuck in the back) and A group on the way back (both kids got window seats, hooray!). Would fly Southwest again (and we will as they lowered the price on my flight after I bought and I was able to adjust online and now have about $80 USD credit to spend on a Southwest flight. ALL GOOD!)

I overheard complaints. A family with young children had to sit on the plane not anywhere near each other. If you have someone book for you and your family (like Disney)make sure you request that you be seated together.

Check in @ Buffalo was convenient and quick. Flight was on time (45 min early arriving). Quite what I expected for service and comfort. The one complaint; one of the behind the seat TV's was nonfunctional for one person in each direction of our flight.

Overall a good experience. I would recommend Jet Blue as a carrier

We have flown Southwest as much as we possibly can and have never been disappointed. We also find they are the most courteous, helpful and efficient of any airline we have flown with. We have had problems with American, Delta and US Air and frankly, anymore, if I can't get there with Southwest, I'm not going. We even fly to Baltimore to get to our daughter's home outside of Philadelphia.

If every airline would take lessons from Southwest, it would be a perfect world. And on top of all that, they don't charge for luggage, so they must be doing something right to be able to make money without causing passengers any more money.

My husband needs a wheelchair also, and they are always right there with it, they take him to the gate and always are pleasant and courteous. We have never had this service with other airlines, as they have been rude or late with their handicap access.
