Flight from Boston to Reykjavik
- Round Trip
- Number of Stops:
- No stops
- Date of Flight:
- August 2012
- Seat Class:
We paid several hundred dollars extra for our flight to be in the 'economy comfort' seats for the overnight flight outbound. They should have been labeled 'extra DIScomfort. These 'comfort' seats are just in the first 3 rows of economy class. The seats we selected at time of reservation were given to someone else and we were told that my husband would be 'on standby'. We had rude reception by phone after holding for 40 minutes to speak to someone, hoping to avoid a 4-hr drive to the airport just to be delayed. We did both get on the flight but were separated and had little leg room due to the cabin doors taking half the space, and no service. The economy seats for our return flight - which had NO extra charge associated - were much more comfortable. The staff at the Boston desk were very nice but the staff on phone should be unemployed. The flight was on time and bags made it without issues.
