To who ever reads this at AirTran.

This will probably go to the trash, but My entire flight(s) to/from Arizona (4) were horrible experience on AirTran Airline and put a crip in my vacation plans, I lost one day of paid vacation just trying to get there and to boot you upset my wife.

    1) Arrived at 4:35 am for Flight 967 on 4/10/2010 from ACY to Atlanta, there was 2 hour delay because of mechanical problems. Arriving in Atlanta I was not allowed to board my connecting Phoenix flight 540, even thou Airtran caused the delay on 967 flight. We did have 12 minutes till flight 540 left for Phoenix, AZ. I know AirTran could have delayed the flight 540 to Phoenix for ten minutes, (heck, on the return flights I got a tour of Atlantas airport twice, we taxied around the airport on our return flight 545 on 04/16/2010 to ACY twice in Atlanta for a 2 hour delay that night going home). But no, someone in Air Tran operations decided instead to make us wait 11 hours in Atlanta till the next availible flight 542 to Phoenix and guess what? My luggage was on the flight 540 that we were not allowed on at 10:03am and our luggage was in lockup waiting for us in Phoenix 11 hours later. Should I be angry? What do you think? I had a 26 hour day instead of a 15 hour day on my first day to my destination. Would you fly this airline again?

Next, the return flights, 545 to Atlanta and 968 to ACY, well the young stewardess with the long blond ponytail who represents AirTran (on flight 545) did not once apologize for the seat mix-up caused by AirTran, not me, at one point I felt she was trying to make me feel like an a-hole, with her smart mouth answers for every reasonable question I had. She represents Airtran? Boy, you will be out of business sooner with this front line representation of AirTran. I hope you didn't clone her. She shouldn't be allowed to work in the airline business. ACY flight 968, 2hr delay, the mechanic tried twice to say the airplane was ok to fly, thank god the pilot valued his life, the mechanic who signed off on the plane wouldn't fly with us back to ACY, that was a good clue that its time to hire people who take pride in there work and value there bread and butter (the customers flying on the planes).

I intend to tell my story to all (887) employees at the company I work for back in NJ, my family and any one who brings up vacations.. I will in my life time either see AirTran go out of business like TWA, Pan Am and Eastern Airlines or become the best around, I think the first.

I'm sure I am not the first to experience AirTran. Is this really AirTrans' business model?
